Why Video?
The command to “Go!” is one given to every follower and disciple of Jesus Christ.
Beyond the unity in that mission, Christian missionaries to even the most remote regions of the planet all have at least one other thing in common: they learn the customs and traditions of those they hope to reach.
Most of the population in the western world age 40 and under are easily classified as ‘digital natives’. They (we) are completely at home with electronic devices – from desktop to handheld – connecting us to the rest of the world.
The Real Challenge
Perhaps the largest obstacle to overcome in creating and launching a video ministry is yourself. It’s easy to procrastinate and over plan to the point of inaction. The solution:…do it!
Setup your phone or DSLR, add a decent microphone, and record an introduction.
Create a new channel (and account if you need to) on YouTube or Facebook, post your introduction, and start communicating!
